No one could predict what we'd face, On that day we set out for a different pace, Ready as we could ever be, But we couldn't know what was ahead entirely, For weeks it felt like there was no sun, What had we started? What had we done? We prayed and we craved for more light, After so many storms we were loosing our sight, With the change of terrain and point of view, Those cloudy moments became few, In the hills, valleys, twists, and turns, We tried to be still, we tried to learn, There's one thing you won't regret spending, That's time, cuz you never know when your road is ending. -Joyward
